Melissa Longley and Paul Stevens of Longley Asset Management (LAM) offer bespoke investment management services. LAM is a specialist owner-managed firm located in the heart of the West End, and also with an office in south London. Their investment solutions incorporate the ‘whole of market’ investment universe rather than just employing standardised products from a limited selection of companies. Melissa and Paul previously worked together at Kleinwort Benson Private Bank, and between them have over 50 years of experience in working with private individuals and their professional advisers. Both are ‘Chartered’ with the Chartered Institute of Securities & Investment and Melissa is actively involved in several professional networks for women.

Waverton Investment Management was founded in 1986 and looks after over £6bn of assets primarily for private clients. We take a global direct stock view towards building investment portfolios as this gives us a large opportunity set and provides clients with the benefits that geographical diversification can bring. This is vitally important in an age of technological disruption. We know each of the stocks in a client’s portfolio intimately. As signatories of the Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI), we incorporate ESG factors into our company research as well as actively engaging with management and voting at company meetings. Our direct stock approach also has a cost benefit.
